Michelle Schroeder-Lowrey

Meet Michelle…

Michelle Schroeder-Lowrey is an artist educator specializing in music, movement, and drama at Columbus Academy in Columbus, Ohio. Michelle is a CAPP certified Positive Psychology Practitioner and recently completed certification as a Resiliency Trainer at The Flourishing Center in NYC. Michelle is passionate about educating people on the benefits of living life with purpose using the principles of PERMA-V and the VIA Character Strengths. She is a proud wife and mother and a founding member of Available Light Theatre and holds a BA in Theatre from The Ohio State University.

 
 

Michelle leads workshops in resiliency based on the bounce back better program and the applied positive psychology program from the flourishing center in NYC.

Michelle has additional training from the Institute for Positive Education in Geelong, Australia. Her workshops are designed to teach the science of resilience and basics of Positive Psychology and Positive Education including, but not limited to:  The Science of Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence, Reframing, Working with Worry, and Tools for Mastering Thoughts. Michelle has shared these training sessions with parent education groups, 200+ teaching faculty and staff at Columbus Academy, theatre students at Denison University, and local church affiliated Wellness Groups.
